This is a collection of a few pieces I've created over the years. Every piece has its own story. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
“Kindled”
This painting was very experimental for me. I tried new textures, new mediums, and leaned into the almost abstract look. I can't get enough of the end result. The colors came out so vibrant and there is so much texture.
"Exposure"
I had a lot of fun with this one. Created on a wooden backing, I wanted to make something that really popped at the viewer. I did this by using such a vividly contrasting pallete, and it really captured the effect I was going for, resulting in a glossy looking portrait.
“Mother Nature”
This mixed media painting was created entirely from my mind. It is on an 18” by 12” canvas, with a base of silver spray paint. After the first layer dried, I experimented with a few different techniques and mediums to create this one-of-a-kind piece.
“Optimism”
This painting was made with the idea of seeing the bright side. Despite being broken, the subject has taken advantage of the situation by turning her empty mind into a garden. This piece is an 18” by 12” on canvas, with oil and acrylic paints.
