We start with the vision.
Before your event, we’ll discuss the setting, guest count, overall aesthetic, and what moment you’d like captured — first dance, ceremony, grand entrance, or a custom scene.
You’ll choose:

Canvas size

Orientation (vertical or horizontal)

Level of detail

Color mood and atmosphere
From there, I create a loose composition plan so the painting feels intentional while still allowing room for live spontaneity.

Transportation and Arrival
I handle all materials and setup.
Travel and, if required, overnight accommodations are the responsibility of the client and will be outlined in your custom proposal. This ensures everything is arranged properly so I can arrive prepared and focused on your event.
For weddings, I arrive earlier in the day to begin prepping the background and establishing the foundation of the painting before guests arrive. For other events, I typically arrive 1–2 hours before the painting begins to:

Set up the easel and materials

Establish the base sketch or background wash

Coordinate placement with your planner or venue team
My setup is clean, professional, and designed to blend seamlessly into the event space — becoming part of the experience rather than a distraction.

Painting Process
During the event, I paint in real time as guests watch the artwork unfold.
Depending on your event timeline:

Key figures are painted live

Details are layered throughout the evening

Guests can observe progress as the piece comes to life
Live painting adds both entertainment and elegance — it becomes a conversation piece and a visual highlight of the night.

Maintenance
At the end of the evening, the painting is typically 70–90% complete.
Final detailing and refinement are completed in-studio to ensure a polished, gallery-quality finish. Once complete:

The painting is sealed and protected

Professional photos are taken

The artwork is delivered or shipped safely to you
You receive a one-of-a-kind heirloom that captures the energy and emotion of your event.
How Does It Work?
COMMISSIONS
These can be anything from a custom portrait, to a sketch of a significant home or location, to a custom painting inspired by one of my originals.

Inquiry & Vision
Start by reaching out with your idea.
You’ll share your subject, preferred size, deadline, and any inspiration or reference photos.
From there, we’ll confirm:

Once approved, a deposit secures your spot on my calendar.

Mockup
You’ll send your final reference photos (clear, high-quality images make the biggest difference).
I’ll review everything and determine composition, lighting, and overall mood to ensure the painting feels intentional — not just copied, but thoughtfully designed.
If needed, I may clarify details before beginning.

Creation
Your painting is created by hand in my studio.
Depending on the project, I may share a progress update. Small adjustments can be made at this stage, but major compositional changes are not possible once painting begins.
Each piece is built in layers to ensure depth, realism, and longevity.

Finishing & Delivery
Once complete, the painting is sealed and protected.
The remaining balance is due prior to delivery.
Your artwork is carefully packaged and shipped, or arranged for local pickup.
You receive a one-of-a-kind original created specifically for you — designed to last for generations.
How Does It Work?

Share your Idea
Contact me to book, and tell me what you're looking for. The more detail, the better. What the inspiration is, what vibe you're looking for, what message you want to convey, color palletes, and if you have any reference photos.

Mockup
After the nonrefundable deposit is secured, I will create a mockup illustration. At this point, I would ask for all revision requests until you are happy with the look.

Painting Process
Once we have the design, it will take approximately 2-6 weeks to produce the art, depending on scale and detail.

Maintenance
While maintenance is not included in my pricing, I am always happy to discuss stopping by for touchups. Fees would be determined on a case by case basis.
